The Turkish state uses Islamic slogans in its internal and external policies to implement projects and achieve interests, which religious scholars see as an exploitation of Islam.

In this context, the head of al-Shura Council for Endowments in the Euphrates region, Imam Mahmoud Othman, called on the Islamic and international community to stand in the face of the Turkish occupation of the Syrian lands, citing the saying of the Prophet Muhammad, "The silence of the truth is a dumb devil."

Mahmoud Othman added, "The silence of the Islamic councils regarding the crime committed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan through his mercenaries against the Syrian people and the Libyan alike is a partnership with the Turkish state and its mercenaries in killing the peoples of the region."

He pointed out that "Islam is a religion of peace, love and brotherhood," noting that the Turkish occupation is committing massacres against the peoples of the region in the name of Islam.

Osman appealed to the "Islamic Conference and al-Azhar Mosque" to work to put an end to the Turkish state that kills the Syrian people in general and the Kurdish people in particular, pointing out that "the history of the Kurds is bright and honorable in supporting the Islamic religion and these Turkish tricks are weak and will not pass on the Islamic peoples."

He continued, saying: "The Islamic Conference must rule its conscience and not be silent about the violations of the Turkish state because the silent one is a dumb devil, and you are silent about the violations of the Turkish government against our people."

At the end of his speech, Mahmoud Othman cited a Quranic verse that says: "Do not rely on those who did wrong, and the fire will spread to you and what you have from God, then you will not be victorious," pointing out that the Islamic silence on the crimes of the Turkish state is not commensurate with the principles of Islam.

The imam and preacher of the Muktala mosque in the city of Kobani, Mohi al-Din Ahmed, said that "the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said in a speech of Hajj farewell to Muslims," A Muslim is forbidden for his blood, wealth, and honor."

Mohi al-Din Ahmed concluded his speech by saying: "Those who occupied Girê Spî

Afrin and Serêkaniyê are mercenaries who came for the purpose of stealing and looting and not as they claim a victory for the Islamic religion, and the Islamic world must stop them at their limit."

The regions occupied by Turkey in Syria are witnessing a complete chaos of stealing and looting civilians' properties, in addition to kidnappings and the request for financial ransom affecting the people of those areas, practiced by mercenary groups supported by Turkey, and all these atrocities are committed in the name of Islam.
