Since March 2011, and with the beginning of the popular movement in Syria, the Kurds were not far from the ranks of the Syrian revolution, popularly, politically and militarily. However, the division of Kurdish parties and political blocs in NE, Syria clearly affected the Kurdish issue in the region.

These partisan divisions in the region have been harnessed by regional and international powers for their political interests as the Syrian regime, and Turkey has played on this chord since the beginning of the Syrian crisis and until the present time.

Turkey relies on some figures to legitimize its interference in the Syrian crisis and occupy its lands, as was the case with many Kurdish regions, and the Syrian regime also was not far from benefiting from some other Kurdish parties, as it harnessed it to restore its hegemony.

Several initiatives were launched to unify the Kurdish ranks in NE, Syria, and at the level of the four parts of Kurdistan, but these efforts and endeavors did not translate on the ground into tangible results to preserve the region, and the gains that were made.

The most recent of these initiatives was the initiative of the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, which he launched in December last year to unify the Kurdish ranks and rearrange the Kurdish house.

And in a video monitoring of Hawar agency news (ANHA) for the opinion of the Kurdish street in NE, Syria, it was found that there is solidarity and cohesion between the Kurdish people, and everyone is watching the Kurdish national unity.

The monitoring also revealed the urgent necessity in the current stage to reach a unified political speech that serves the Kurdish people, and leads to standing together in the face of the attacks facing the region.

SDF initiative has received some positive reactions, and received many criticisms in an effort to evade the proposed initiative, some parties have paid attention, others are fleeing, and accusations through media statements between the Kurdish political parties continued to ignore their purpose in uniting the Kurdish rank.

He also called on citizens to hold members accountable for sowing discord between the two parties, to sit at the dialogue table, and not to allow any regional or international party to interfere in the Kurdish situation.

The meetings as a whole contemplate, in the end, she hopes that these hopes will be translated into reality, and become a Kurdish gain, and the Kurdish political parties and blocs will return to their senses, saying: "If we do not unite, we will end, one after the other."
