Al-Mashi: We received thousands from Idlib refugees, several camps are underway

The co-chair of the Social Affairs and Labor Body, Farouk al-Mashi indicated that hundreds of Idlib residents have reached the areas of Autonomous Administration, and this number is constantly rising, and that their doors are open and they will provide them with everything necessary according to the capabilities, noting that they are about to open camps for them.

Hawar news agency (ANHA) interviewed with the co-chair of the Social Affairs and Labor Body in the Autonomous Administration Farouk al-Mashi about the numbers of IDPs from the city of Idlib, who came to the areas of AA, the assistance provided to them and the possibility of receiving more.

Al-Mashi started his speech by saying: "Our doors are open to receive our people from the city of Idlib, and this is what is imposed on us by our human and moral duty and within the principles of the Syrian Democratic Forces SDF and the Syria Democratic Council SDC."

Al-Mashi has referred to the statements of the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces SDF, Mazloum Abdi, and his invitation to the people of Idlib fleeing the battles, explaining that they started from that call and began preparing and opened the doors to receive the IDPs from Idlib with great hospitality and honor.

ꞌ We are setting up camps to accommodate IDPs from Idlib

Al-Mashi confirmed that they are in the process of establishing camps in the city of Manbij to accommodate the displaced from Idlib and the arrivals to AA's areas.

ꞌ They are our family, and it is our duty to provide them with the necessary according to capabilities

On the assistance provided by the Autonomous Administration, the co-chair of the Social Affairs and Labor Body said: "They are our people and have taken refuge in us to escape the oppression of terrorism. It is our human and moral duty to provide them with everything necessary according to our capabilities, they will receive shelter and other needs of the displaced and all their needs will be taken into account."

Farouk al-Mashi revealed that they are in the process of conducting an accurate statistic for expatriates, that their numbers are estimated in hundreds, most of them in Manbij, and that the numbers are constantly increasing as a result of the military operations taking place in their areas.

Al-Mashi concluded his speech by sending a message to the people of Idlib saying: "The people of Idlib are our people, and whoever wishes to go to us is welcome, we are the children of Syria and are ready to help our brothers and all who need help, and we confirm our willingness to receive all the displaced whether our people from Idlib or any other Syrian regions."

The city of Idlib has been witnessing since the beginning of this year military operations and fierce battles between the Syrian regime forces and Islamic militant groups backed by Turkey, which led to a large number of civilian casualties, and the commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces SDF General General Mazloum Abdi called in a series of tweets on his own page, "Twitter Idlib people go to the areas of Autonomous Administration of North and East of Syria.
