Musa Keno: Eliminating Kurds is a priority of Turkish policies

Member of the leadership committee of Al Wahda Democratic Kurdish Party in Syria, Musa Keno, stressed the importance of uniting the Kurdish row to counter the Turkish hostile policy, which puts the issue of ending the Kurdish presence on its list of priorities.

Turkey has been working to support the radical Islamist groups in Syria since the beginning of the Syrian crisis. On the other hand, it works on creating strife among the components of the region, as well as the direct occupation of the Syrian territory. It works on Turkificating these areas and bringing about demographic change in the demographic composition of northern Syria.

Turkey is exploiting the so-called opposition for achieving its occupation objectives

On Turkey's expansionist policies in Syria, Hawar news agency interviewed the member of the leadership committee in Al Wahda Democratic Kurdish Party, Musa Keno, who pointed to the real objectives of Turkey, and said: "Turkey aims to expand its borders and occupy more Syrian territory, and it uses the mercenary groups that call themselves the Syrian opposition for this purpose with the aim of exterminating the Kurds."

"Turkey is practicing ethnic cleansing and the policies of demographic change and Turkification with the aim of changing the identity of the region and the demographics of the currently occupied areas," he said.

The solution lies in internal consensus away from interventions

Musa Keno believes that the most appropriate solution for peace in Syria is the political solution. He said: "The solution in Syria is a political solution and must be by consensus of the internal parties away from abroad suggested solutions. Then, Turkey would have no role in Syria and be expelled from the occupied territories."

He pointed to the importance of initiatives aimed at achieving the national unity and continued: "Initiatives on the issue of achieving the national unity are positive," but explained that some parties do not respond to initiatives, including the National Council parties, which cannot get out of the Turkish state pressure."

The unity of the Kurdish troops is absolutely necessary at this stage

Keno warned of the danger of the Turkish objectives that aim at ending the Kurdish presence and its ambitions in northern Syria, pointing out that the unification of the Kurdish parties is an utmost necessity at this stage to thwart the Turkish policies that put the file of ending the Kurdish presence in the region at the head of its list priorities."
