Libyan army is advancing in Misurata; Erdogan in Algeria to search the Libyan file

The Libyan army said in a statement that its forces forced Misurata militants to flee from the town of Buqrin, and managed to control several military vehicles of the National Accord Government, as well as the families of several individuals.

The army stated that its forces were advancing significantly towards the center of Misurata and had become 100 km away, while the "Ajdabiya Operations Room" of the General Command of the Libyan Army confirmed violent confrontations broke out against National Accord Government south of the capital, Tripoli.

Armed clashes did not stop at all axes of the capital Tripoli two days ago despite the truce agreed at the Berlin conference on Libya, amid mutual accusations of violating the cease-fire.

During the Berlin conference, foreign powers agreed to form a special committee composed of 10 military officials from both sides of the conflict to reinforce the fragile truce. Besides, military officials are scheduled to meet for the first time in Geneva this week.

In the same context, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Algeria, at the start of an African tour, who had announced before his departure to Algeria, that the Libyan file will be at the forefront of our discussions in Algeria, calling for a quick move to resolve the conflict in Libya.
