​​​​​​​Turkish-Russian joint patrol launched west of Kobani

​​​​​​​The Russian military police started a joint patrol with Turkish occupation forces on the Syrian-Turkish border, west of the city of Kobani.

4 Turkish armored vehicles entered the Syrian territories from a border crossing in the village of Ashma, west of the city of Kobani. From there, a joint patrol with 4 Russian armored vehicles will be started from there.

The patrol is scheduled to roam the villages of "Ashma, Gargali, Jabna, Mishko, Binder, KhorKouri tahtani, Koula, Sousan and reaching the Internal Security Forces checkpoint west of the radio center. Then the patrol will return through the villages of Siftak, Bhuban, Khourkhouri, Decamdash, Qiran, Gargali and then Ashma village, which ends the patrol.

The conduct of joint patrols between Russia and Turkey on the Syrian-Turkish border is in implementation of understandings reached by the Russian and Turkish presidents in Sochi on October 22 of last year.
