On its anniversary, AA of Al Jazeera renews promise to fulfil duty towards people   

On Tuesday, the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Al Jazeera canton organized a ceremony at Baylasan Hall in Amuda district, on the occasion of the sixth anniversary of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Al Jazeera canton  declaration. It was attended by representatives of the civil administrations, heads of the councils, Arab and Kurdish notables, war wounded, representatives of Kurdish, Arab and Syriac parties, military forces, and the Internal Security Forces.

The ceremony was also attended by Co-heads of the Autonomous Administration for North and East of Syria, Abdul Hamid al-Muhbash and Berivan Khaled, Head of the Executive committee of Syria Democratic Council Ilham Ahmed, and co-heads of the seven bodies in northern and eastern Syria.

The pictures of the martyrs of North and East Syria Revolution and the picture of the General Secretary of Future Syria Party, Hevrin Khalaf who was martyred on October 13,2019 at the hands of Turkey's mercenaries were hung at the celebration’s hall.

The celebration program started with a silence moment, followed by many music tracks performed by (Rojava Orchestra). After that, the speech of the joint presidency of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of Al Jazeera canton delivered by Talaat Younis in Kurdish and Nazira Gewria in Arabic.

The joint presidency welcomed all the attendees, and recalled the martyrs of freedom: "We bow to the greatness of our righteous martyrs, who made us get  at this stage, and we stand on the footsteps of all the martyrs who defended the land and the existence."

The joint presidency indicated that the Democratic Autonomous Administration is now celebrating its sixth anniversary, and this is the result of the of northeastern Syria people’s heritage of the struggle and knowledge, as they have established a model that can solve the historically accumulated crises politically and socially in the light of the developments  that take place in the world, the region and Syria in particular.

The joint presidency of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Al Jazeera canton noted that in the midst of destruction, fighting and war, the administration could build the model of co-living everywhere, uniting the will and objectives of all components towards a better future.

The Joint Presidency drew attention to the fact that the people of northern and eastern Syria could defeat the "terrorism" represented by Turkish state backed-ISIS and Jabhet al-Nusra through their great sacrifices. The  administration could break the barrier of disappointment and the ability to change and create civil peace among the components of the Syrian society. It  changed  the world's view by the resistance shown by the people of the region, and the truth of the people's belief in the democratic and free life, The Autonomous Administration thus became an effective player in the Syrian arena, and was able to coordinate relations on world level in order to solve the Syrian crisis.

The Autonomous Administration of Al Jazeera canton condemned  the Turkish occupation attacks on northern and eastern Syria areas which caused displacing thousands of civilians, and pointed out that these attacks exacerbated the security situations and hit the stability, and that the Turkish occupation has carried out demographic change in the occupied areas.

The Joint Presidency of the Executive Council for Democratic Autonomous Administration of Al Jazeera canton concluded its speech: "Today we leave behind us six years of joint struggle at various levels, without forgetting the difficult circumstances that our regions are going through at this sensitive stage, since Turkey occupied our areas. We reaffirm to our people to work with determination and will to carry out our duties towards our people, through our administrative, security, political and service responsibilities. We will carry out duties towards our people and the gains made thanks to the blood of the martyrs."

Subsequently, a short film was displayed about the work of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in three languages "Kurdish, Arabic and Syriac," followed by singing performances in Kurdish, Arabic and Syriac.
