The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that as a result of the clashes erupted among the Turkish mercenaries, two civilians had been killed after being shot by random gunfire due to the continuous armed fighting on al-Ra'i road between al-Bab and Sossian areas in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo.

The Observatory said that the clashes had taken place between al-Jabha al-Shamiyya mercenaries on one side and Ahrar al-Sharqiyya mercenaries on the other side, supported by Turkey due to a dispute between the two factions over smuggling livestock towards the areas controlled by the regime.

While al-Jabha al-Shamiyya mercenaries arrested approximately 13 members of the Ahrar al-Sharqiyya mercenaries, and confiscated vehicles loaded with livestock that were on their way to the areas controlled by the regime. Then, Ahrar al-Sharqiyya mercenaries brought in military reinforcements, after which violent clashes erupted between the two sides which left deaths and injuries in the ranks of the two sides, amid a state of tension witnessed throughout the region.

Furthermore, the areas occupied by Turkey and its mercenaries are witnessing almost daily clashes because of the disputes over the crossings and the sharing of the civilians’ properties.
