According to the information that our correspondent from the region conveyed to us, it was planned that a joint Russian-Turkish patrol would leave in Alyan district of Girkê Legê district, in Qamishlo canton.

Our reporter said that despite the 6 armored vehicles of the Russian military police waiting for more than two hours the Turkish armored vehicles in the village of Derona Agi, the Turkish armored vehicles did not enter Syrian territory.

After that, the Russian police armored vehicles, accompanied by the Internal Security Forces, will set off from the village of Derona Agi towards the villages of Sheikh Ibrahim, Bakrawan and Battarzan, then return to Derona Agi before setting out from there again to the west, towards the city of Qamishlo where it came from.

It is worth noting that, in November, 8 and 16, 2019, other joint patrols took place, in which Russian-Turkish armored vehicles participated, in Alyan-related to Girkê Legê.

These patrols met with widespread popular rejection by the people of the region, that Turkish armored vehicles entered the Syrian territories.
