At the end of last November, the Libyan army announced the imposition of an air embargo over the area of operations in the capital, Tripoli, but then exempted the Mitiga airport zone from this embargo, given the potential humanitarian needs.

On the other hand, it seemed that the Tripoli militias took advantage of this, according to the French radio station, "RFI", which said that Mitiga the only airport operating in the Libyan capital, had recently witnessed a persistent movement of fighters from Turkey aboard Unregistered flights.

The Libyan army's decision comes after its air defense platforms shot down a Turkish airliner, in the Bograin area of Sirte.

Yesterday evening, the Egyptian-European meeting on the situation in Libya ended with an emphasis on stopping Turkish interference, and considering al-Sirraj and Erdogan agreement illegal and of concern.
