Putin, Erdogan’s meeting ignites (De-escalation).. Mercenaries advance

The mercenary gangs launched an attack on the positions of the regime forces in Idlib eastern countryside, which made progress in the region, in conjunction with the preparations for Putin’s meeting with Erdogan on Wednesday.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that clashes had continued at a violent pace between the mercenary gangs affiliated with Turkey on the one hand and the regime forces on the other hand on the axes of Idlib eastern countryside, and that in the context of the ongoing attack by the first on the axes of al-Madmouma, Samakah, Bersa, and Furwan since Wednesday morning.

The Syrian Observatory confirmed that the mercenaries had been able to advance in the area and control the villages of Samakah, Bersa and al-Madmouma, while the clashes had coincided with intense ground strikes between the two sides, in addition to targeting machineries belonged to the regime forces.

These developments coincided with the preparation for a meeting between the Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan today.

The so-called De-escalation zones witnessed a relative calm after meetings took place in Moscow between Russian, Turkish and the regime delegations.
