Delegation of Senate visited Executive Council in al-Jazeera region

The delegation of the Senate Body in North and East Syria visited the Executive Council in al-Jazeera region in order to develop the relations and discuss the situations in the region.

The Senate in North and East Syria is a civil body, consisting of notables and sheikhs of all regions of north and east Syria including 35 members, has sub-committees in all regions of north and east Syria, and aims to develop the relations between the Autonomous Administrations and notables, chiefs and sheikhs of the clans.

The delegation of the Senate in North and East Syria was received by the Executive Council in al-Jazeera region by the Joint Presidency of the Council Talat Younis and Nazira Gewriya, the Autonomous Administration Advisor Dilber Yusuf, and the Deputy Joint Presidency Ali al-Kaoud.

The two sides discussed the social situation in the areas of al-Jazeera region while the northern and eastern regions of Syria are subjected to attacks by the Turkish occupation, and several forces at home and abroad are trying to undermine the security and stability of the region. They also stressed the need to develop and strengthen relations between the two sides, especially in the social aspect.
