PYD congratulates Kurdistan Islamic Union on its 8th conference success

The congratulations came in a massage sent by the co-chairs of the Democratic Union Party, Shahoz Hassen and Aisha Hesso.

The massage included:

“Greetings,

The joint presidency of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), we are pleased to extend our warmest congratulations to the General Secretary, the Command Council, the Supreme Body for Follow-up and all the cadres of your party on the occasion of the successful completion of the eighth conference of the Kurdistan Islamic Union.

As your conference was held at a stage when the region in general and Kurdistan in particular are witnessing changes and crises in the structure of the international system and in the geopolitical map, in addition to a struggle for the international and regional powers in light of the peoples’ revolts against the ruling state regimes, and the aspirations of the people towards freedom, justice and equality, we hope that your conference decisions and your forthcoming programs will serve the peoples’ issues, protect the gains in the four parts of Kurdistan, and to be a way for holding the Kurdistan National Congress and solving the issues all over the region.

We also wish success to the leadership and cadres in their new tasks, at a time when we look forward to strengthening and developing the bilateral relations between our two parties in a way that serves our people’s cause, the peoples’ issues, and our common goals to create an ethical and political society.
