Nuri Mahmoud: We to continue resistance as long as we are right

During the funeral ceremony of a number of martyrs, Nuri Mahmoud, the spokesman for the People Protection Units said, “If there is a place where resistance continue to protect human values, identity, culture and morality, those are the areas of north and east Syria.”

 Hundreds of Qamishlo city residents bid farewell the martyr Sheikh Sadiq Ramadan's corpse, whose nom de guerre is Judy Militan, and who was martyred in Serêkaniyê on October 25th to his last resting place in the Martyr' Delil Sarokhan Graveyard. Moreover, an absence ceremony was held for  both of the martyrs Kena Khalil, whose nom de guerre is Dalila Ararat, and Mohammed Khaled,  whose nom de guerre is Baran Qamishlo, who were martyred on October13th in Girê Spî.

During the ceremony, the People Protection Units’ (YPG) spokesman, Nuri Mahmoud said, “It is clear that international laws and rights are being violated  without anyone’s movement. Nowadays, if there is a place where resistance continue to protect human values, identity, culture and morals, those are the regions of north and east Syria.”

Mahmoud praised the resistance shown by the sons and daughters of the region on the front lines, adding, “We are sacrificing a lot, but without any doubt, it will be a big victory as well. Even if we fought the whole world, we would resist as long as we are right.”

Mahmoud  concluded  his speech promising to continue the path of the martyrs until achieving their goals.

During the ceremony, several speeches were delivered on behalf of the family of the martyr, Dalida Ararat,  that was delivered by the martyr's uncle, Asaad Khalil, and the speech of the Council of Martyrs’ Families by the Administrator,  Deljin Hussein, in which, they promised to continue on the path of the martyrs.

At the end of the ceremony, the corpse of the martyr, Judy Militan was buried amidst the trills of the mothers and the slogans glorifying the martyrs.
