Legislative Council ratified assignment of number of  heads of Executive Council Bodies

The Executive Council of al-Jazeera region sent a letter to the Legislative Council that included a decision to assign joint heads to a number of the Council’s bodies instead of those whose mandate was terminated.

In its session today, the Legislative Council approved the names of the assigned based on the provisions of the social contract and the laws in force in al-Jazeera region, and the terms of decree No /1/ of 2019 issued by the Joint Governance included:

Accordingly, each of the following was assigned:

1- Reber Abdel Wahab al-Ali, the co-chair of the Local Administration Body.

2- Reem Romance, the co-chair of the Local Administration Authority.

3- Zainab Mohammed Saeed Mohammed, the client of the Women Body.

4- Lauren Abdel-Hadi Hassen, the co-chair of the Youth and Sports Body.

5- Mohammed Abdel Rahman al-Mohammed, the co-chair of the Youth and Sports Authority.

6- Walida Nazir Hassen, the co-chair of the Finance Body.

7- Rohat Saleh Khalil, the co-chair of the Education Body.

Furthermore, the heads of the bodies assigned swore the oath before the Legislative Council to start performing their duties.
