British website: Anqara to send Syrian mercenaries to Libya to fight Haftar forces

In this context, the website quoted from a prominent source of the so-called “Syrian opposition” saying that Ankara had already contacted several Syrian mercenary gangs about their deployment in Libya.

As a Turkish source said to the website, “Al-Sultan Morad mercenaries, an armed group of Turkmen fighters, is among the groups that will be sent to North Africa.”

On Thursday, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that Turkey's mercenaries had opened registration centers for people wishing to go to fight in Libya.

The Syrian Observatory added that 4 centers had been opened in Afrin, north of Aleppo to attract “the fighters” within the headquarters of the mercenaries supported by Turkey, as it had been monitored that dozens of people had headed to those centers to join the battles in Libya to work under Turkish protection.

Sources confirmed that the mercenaries supported by Turkey encouraged young people to join the Libyan war, and offered temptations and salaries ranging from 1,800 to 2000 US dollars for each armed per month, in addition to providing additional services guaranteed by the host country.
