Al-Hol camp administration hands over Yezidi girl to Yazidi House

The administration of Al-Hol camp handed over a Yazidi girl from Şengal to the Yazidi House in Al-Jazirah region, after she was identified in the camp.

In August 3, 2014, ISIS mercenaries launched an attack on Şengal region in Başûr, "Southern" Kurdistan, during which mercenaries committed massacres against the Yazidis, kidnapping more than 5,000 Yezidi girls and women, and transporting them to their areas of control in Iraq and Syria.

During its campaigns to eliminate ISIS mercenaries, the SDF freed hundreds of Yezidis, working through the Women's Authority, and the Yazidi House Council to get them to their families in Şengal.

Yesterday, the administration of Al-Hol camp for the families of ISIS mercenaries handed over the Yazidi girl, Muhir Samir Rasho, who is from the village of Hardan in Şengal, to the Yazidi House Council in Al-Jazirah District, after she was identified while she was in the camp.

Muhr had been transferred to the camp, after the liberation of the last mercenary strongholds in the village of Al-Baghouz in the countryside of Deir Ezzor, before she was identified contacting with the camp administration.

After receiving the Yezidis, the Yazidi House works to communicate with Şengal Administration Council to communicate with the liberated to be reunited with their families. According to the statistics, the council has worked to deliver more than 53 Yezidis so far to their families.
