The annual meeting of the Youth Council held  in Manbij

Under the slogan of "The Organized Youth Revolutionize…Defeat the Occupation…Liberate the Homeland… Win the Dignity Resistance," The Council of The Revolutionary Youth in Manbij and its countryside held its annual meeting at the meeting hall  of the Legislative Council in the building of the Democratic Civil Administration of Manbij and its countryside.

All the Council’s members, as well as representatives of the civil institutions, the committees of the Civil Administration, and representatives of the Future Syria Party participated in the meeting.

With a silence moment, the meeting launched, followed by the opening speech, which was delivered by Ghalia Naamat, the administrator at Jinology Studies Center, who focused at the importance of the youth's role in the revolution. She called on the youth to increase the pace of struggle in the organization and raise the awareness of the community, especially the young group faction, and she urged them to commit by the national responsibilities towards the homeland.

 That was followed by a speech on behalf of the Women Council by the Council’s member, Naqiyeh al-Khalil, who said, "If we want to build a civilized society, we must build the youth, because they are the cornerstone of the construction. The youth prove their will, power, steadiness and determination to fight for the construction day after day." She added, "One can't  stand in the way of youth if they want to build and combine their efforts with women's efforts to form an impregnable wall that opens a path towards the change for better and freedom."

The speech of the Future Syria Party was delivered by the head of the Party's branch in Manbij, Athab Aboud, who stressed that the Turkish occupation intervention was the cause of the escalation of the Syrian crisis and the destruction of the and the infrastructure, displacing 300,000 civilians, as well as hundreds of martyrs and the wounded civilians.

Telegrams on behalf of Manbij Military Council, the political parties, and the administration of councils and communes were read during the meeting.

The meeting continued with reading the annual report of the Youth Council, and showing a short film, which included the Council's work in a year.

 The participants discussed the annual report and the organizational status of the Council, the problems and obstacles that emerged in a year. The participants also reached a draft resolution to serve as an action program of the future that included the struggle against the authoritarian mentality, national, regional and sexual intolerance, the struggle for women's freedom, the problem of violence, the underage marriage, and other decisions.

The meeting ended with reading the final statement, which included the outcome of the meeting, focusing on the contribution of the youth in the defense of the land and the people, the struggle against the backward ideas and capitalist mentality, and the work for removing the isolation on the humanity commander, Abdullah Ocalan. “We will work on focusing on intellectual training to be a force not to mess around with."
