A source in the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Friday that foreign military intervention in Libya can only complicate the situation in the country.

He added that the possibility of bringing Turkish soldiers to Libya is a source of concern for Russia, considering that this step will raise reactions from neighboring countries, which "raises many questions."

Libyan media reported yesterday, Thursday, that National Accord Government headed by Fayez al-Sarraj decided, at its last meeting, to request specific and logistical support from Turkey.

The agreement signed between Turkey and Al-Sarraj government raised regional and international anger, and the Libyan Parliament considered what Al-Sarraj did as a great betrayal.
