After intense bombing, the regime is advancing in Idlib

The regime forces managed to make progress in Idlib countryside, where they took control of a strategic village, after talking about the start of a major operation in Idlib.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated that the regime forces managed to take control of Umm Jalal village, southeast of Idlib, after 3 successive attempts, which were accompanied by intensive ground and air preparation, and the village enjoys strategical location.

On the other hand, the number of casualties among the mercenaries of Turkey has increased to 29, while at least 17 members of the regime forces have been killed.

The regime forces began yesterday morning a new round of intense air and ground shelling on Idlib countryside, in conjunction with the introduction of more massive reinforcements.

Al-Watan newspaper, which is affiliated with the regime, quoted a field source two days ago that what the regime is doing is a prelude to a major battle in Idlib, and confirmed that it may start at any moment.

These developments come after the failure of the second round of Constitutional Committee meetings and the fourteenth round of Astana meetings.
