Hasakah - Hanar Ibrahim

As a result of the Turkish attack and its mercenaries of Jabhat al-Nusra and ISIS, hundreds of thousands of residents living in the border areas have been displaced, and have gone to the safe areas that are being protected by the Syrian Democratic Forces.

The Autonomous Administration has allocated more than 64 centers to accommodate them in the city of Al-Hasakah, in addition to the Washokani camp west of the city center of Al-Hasakah.

Many of these displaced people wanted to return to their homes, but were prevented by these mercenaries supported by Turkey.

Khadija Al-Ali, a displaced woman from the village of Al-Manajir, located to the south of Serekaniye, spoke to Hawar News about the violations of the Turkish occupation mercenaries in their villages, and their tragic situation in the displacement camps.

Khadija noted that they were displaced from their villages due to the Turkish attack and its mercenaries, the so-called "National Army", and they committed massacres against civilians by targeting them with planes and all types of weapons, even internationally prohibited.

She wanted to go back, but she was forbidden

Like other IDPs who wanted to return to their homes in places occupied by Turkey and its mercenaries, they were surprised by the miserable reality within the region, according to the testimonies.

Khadija, who currently lives in one of the tents, inside Washokani camp, tried to go to her village to get some items, but she was prevented by the Turkish occupation mercenaries, and Khadija says, "I went to my village after its occupation by these mercenaries, but when I arrived at the entrance to the village they prevented me from entering under the pretext that it is a military zone. "

Khadija said that her house was completely looted, destroyed and burnt, in addition to demolishing the walls around the house.

"My neighbors told me that mercenaries will not allow me to enter the house, and there is a high possibility that I will be arrested with my children, so I immediately returned to the camp," Khadija added.

Her house and her demand for the removal of mercenaries

Khadija, with her family of 6 people, noted that "because of the looting of these mercenaries, we have nothing left in the house that we had nothing else. We are in Washokani camp, and we have put it very difficult, there is a great lack of necessary supplies that everyone needs: blankets, heating materials and electricity. "

Khadija says in this context: "We appeal to the countries of the world to remove the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation from our villages to return to our homes, when Erdogan's attack was his pretext to create a safe area, but this region has become a region of looting, sabotage and destruction, not a safe zone. "

The Washokani camp suffers from a lack of services due to the lack of organizations entering the camp, and providing assistance to the displaced, and the burden falls on meeting all the needs and requirements of the displaced on the Autonomous Administration and the Kurdish Red Crescent,  Khadija family like many families in the camp, and they do not have the covers for the tents and heating fuel, In addition to the simplest supplies that everyone needs in the winter.
