In a new challenge for Erdogan ... a new party reveals date of its founding

Turkish media revealed the likely date for the founding of a new party in Turkey headed by former Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan, in a new challenge to the Justice and Development Party, which is chaired by Erdogan.

The media suggested that the date for the establishment of the party of former Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan be revealed on December 31, and it will be launched on January 15.

Former Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu revealed his new party on December 13.

Ali Babacan’s team was quoted as saying that “the disclosure of the new party was postponed until the beginning of the new Gregorian year to avoid creating the impression that the new parties are competing in a competitive race.”

And Babacan said in a television interview: "His new party will be established early next year."

On July 8, Babacan officially submitted his resignation from the "Justice and Development", which was one of its founders, in a move that had a major impact on the ruling party, which suffers from successive splits, in opposition to Erdogan's policies that entered the country in a dark tunnel.
