A member of the Executive Committee of Democratic Society Movement TEV-DEM, Aldar Khalil, said that the city of Serêkaniyê is besieged and the people of Serêkaniyê now live without electricity, water and food.

Khalil confirmed that the hospital was also under threat of shelling. "There is a risk of massacres in the city."

Khalil criticized the Security Council for failing to perform its duties. "The Security Council met yesterday, but was unable to take a decision to stop this genocide," he said.

There were reports yesterday from inside the city that the Turkish occupation army used phosphorus internationally prohibited in the bombing of the city.
