Othman: Turkey is very likely to carry out its threats

The SDC's spokesman did not rule out an attack by the Turkish occupation state on the areas of north and east of Syria, and asserted that the people of north and east of Syria are ready to respond to these attacks.

Commenting on the recent threats by the Turkish occupation president Erdogan to launch attacks on the areas of north and east of Syria in a time where the SDF implemented their obligations in regard for the tripartite agreements Amjed Othman the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) spokesman said that the Turkish occupation renewed it threats again in launching attacks against the areas of north and east of Syria."

He pointed out that the new Turkish escalation is a sign of its dissatisfaction with the tripartite agreement between the Syrian Democratic Forces, the United States and Turkey

He noted that Turkey and its partners in the Constitutional Commission aim to destroy the democratic Autonomous Administration and undermine security and stability in the region, "there is a high probability that Turkey will carry out its threats," he said

Othman pointed out that they are continuing their diplomatic relations with the concerned parties on the Syrian file, and said: "The people of the region and administration and the SDF will not stand idly by in the face of any attack on the region."
