Two people wounded in a bomb explosion in al-Tabqa city
An explosive device blew up on Thursday evening in the city of al-Tabqa in an internal transport vehicle which resulted in the injury of two citizens.
Our correspondent from the area reported that the explosion took place near Al-Ahedan roundabout in al-Tabqa city. It turned out that it was caused by an explosive device planted next to the road. It exploded as an internal transport vehicle passed by, wounding two citizens and damaging the vehicle.
The Internal Security Forces and security units rushed to surround the scene after the wounded were evacuated to the hospital by emergency teams.
Investigations into the circumstances of the bombing are under way as the Internal Security Forces' Deming Teams comb the area.
