A military parade, fighters celebrate Daesh defeat

After the official announcement by the Syrian Democratic Forces' victory over mercenaries, celebrations were held in all parts of northern and eastern Syria. This victory was achieved thanks to the blood of the martyrs and the sacrifices of the north and east of Syria in all its components, including Kurds, Arabs and Syriacs.

In this regard, the People's Protection Units and the Self-Defense Forces today organized a military parade at the Shrine of the Martyr Ismael in Amuda, on the occasion of defeating IS mercenaries on the whole geography of north and east Syria militarily, in the presence of the families of the martyrs and the people of the region.

Then the leader of the People's Protection Units, Robar Dêrik, said that their units and the Syrian Democratic Forces have been fighting Daesh mercenaries for 5 years, in order to eliminate the extremist ideas that mercenaries were trying to implant in society: "These mercenaries tried to tear apart the fabric of the region. Wherever they were, corruption, murder and destruction spread. "

After five years, they were able to defeat IS mercenaries, and made great sacrifices. He praised the efforts and steadfastness of the people of north and east Syria in all its components who have stood by their children on the fighting fronts since the start of the attacks on northern and eastern Syria.

The leader of the Kurdish people, Abdullah Ocalan, and his resistance in Imrali prison, went to participate in the celebration held for them by the Amuda district council and the Council of Martyrs' Families.

On their arrival at the Sayran hall, which was adorned with pictures of the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan, the pictures of the martyrs, the flags of the Syrian Democratic Forces, the People's and Women's Protection Units, the flags of the martyrs' families, flags and symbols of Rojava revolution, fighters were welcomed by the people.

The celebration began with delivering a speech on behalf of the Council of Martyrs' Families in Amuda Zior Ali and the co-chair of Amuda council Abdulla Ahmed. They praised the victories achieved by SDF against Daesh mercenaries, congratulated the fighters and the public in northern and eastern Syria.

After the end of the words, several songs were presented by the artist Safqan Orkish, to the fighters, followed by the members of the Hori Center for Culture and Art in Amuda singing several revolutionary passages.
