Ilham Ahmed: Our efforts to be dedicated to liberate Afrin

Ilham Ahmed said that the end of the Turkish occupation in Afrin has been imminent, stressing that all their political, diplomatic and military efforts, after the end of IS 'mercenaries, will be dedicated to liberate Afrin from the Turkish occupation.

The head of the Executive Council of the Syria Democratic Council, Ilham Ahmed, congratulated the celebration of Newroz 2019 to al-Shahba and Afrin peoples and the world on this day, especially the Resistance of the Age in Afrin.

Ilham Ahmed pointed out that the violations of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries in Afrin are not different from the practices and policies of IS in Syria, and even worse because IS is working with the mentality of the Turkish occupation."

Ilham Ahmed also congratulated the world on the end of IS' mercenaries in Syria, saying that SDF, together with all peoples, have achieved great victories in the face of dictatorship.

Ilham Ahmed said that in 612 BC, with the agreement of the peoples and the leadership of the Medes, the throne of oppression was destroyed, and the day of March 21 has become a new day of freedom and victory. Today, IS is nearing of total defeat which is run by Turkey, the end of IS shakes the throne of Ankara.

Ilham Ahmed said that the MP Leyla Guven who has been on hunger strike for 134 days in Bakur north Kurdistan has refused Turkey's occupation for Afrin. "This is why the Turkish occupation has arrested her and now she is on hunger strike demanding to lift the isolation on the leader Ocalan."
