Commander in SDF: We must unite to eliminate sleeper cells

The commander Jessur Amouda called on the peoples of the region to join hands to eliminate the sleeper cells after the liberation of the region, while offering condolences to the families of the martyr Rekan Suleiman.

Hundreds of residents of Serê Kaniyê of Hasaka canton gathered today at the funeral tent of the martyr Rekan Suleiman, one of the soldiers of the Self-Defense Forces who was martyred during his participation in al-Jazeera Tempest campaign organized by Martyrs' Families Council in Zerkan.

The funeral was attended by dozens of members of the city's civic institutions and centers, dozens of members of the Internal Security Forces, fighters of the People's and Women's Protection Units(YPG and YPJ) , and the Syrian Democratic Forces(SDF).

The commander Jessur Amouda said that mercenaries are on the verge of ending IS militarily, "but we have to be vigilant from their sleeper cells that exist among us in all regions in general."

He added, "We are all united in Syria, so we all have to stand together and fight against the external enemy, mercenaries and the army of the Turkish occupation."
