Zozan Dêrik: World's women derive strength from Leyla Guven's resistance

The co-chair of the Democratic Society Conference and the parliamentarian of the People's Democratic Party in Colemêrg Leyla Guven has been on hunger strike for more than 100 days in a row, demanding to lift the isolation on the Kurdish people leader Abdullah Ocalan.

The administrator of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) in Europe Zozan Dêrik said, "The Turkish state imposes a strict isolation on Ocalan to separate him from the external world, and does not allow his lawyers and family to meet him, but the people's will is stronger than these conspiracies, especially the Kurdish women such as the martyrs Beritan, Viyan and Arin Mirkan."

Zozan Dêrik, "Leyla Guven shows a great resistance to lift the isolation imposed on the leader Ocalan. Leyla Guven's resistance has affected the women all over the world, and she has become an example for millions of women in the world."

Zozan noted, "We have seen in all parts of the world the solidarity with the resistance of Leyla Guven through the demonstrations organized by women."

Zozan continued, "The thought and philosophy of Ocalan opened the way for Kurdish women in all domains, and this is a great responsibility for the Kurdish women for the sake of liberation."

Zozan concluded saying that the resistance continues in the four parts of Kurdistan and the rest of the world to lift isolation and standing in solidarity with Leyla Guven.
