SDF: IS eradicated, try to commit massacres against refugees

The Syrian Democratic Forces SDF have foiled an attack by a group of IS mercenaries, wearing explosive belts, who were trying to commit a massacre against a group of displaced people fleeing from IS control's areas.

The "Battle to Terrorism Defeat" is still advancing in the last stage of Al-Jazeera Tempest campaign in the countryside of Deir-ez-Zor, and IS mercenaries are still being trapped in al-Baguz al-Fokani in the east of Hajin city by SDF, large numbers of the civilians' families are flocking daily to the areas liberated by SDF.

On Wednesday, IS mercenaries want to take revenge from the people who are being fled, 7 of IS mercenaries tried to infiltrate among the displaced where most of the them are from IS' families trying to reach the liberated areas by SDF, and reach to a gathering of displaced people where they are hosted by Syrian Democratic Council and Deir ez-Zor Civil Council and provides them with assistance, in an attempt by mercenaries to commit a massacre against the displaced people.

In this context, the fighter Robar Hasaka, who was among the fighters who repelled the attack, said that a group of 7 mercenaries tried to infiltrate wearing explosive belts to blow themselves up among civilians, but the Syrian Democratic forces were vigilant and got information about some IS mercenaries infiltrating; therefore, the Special Forces of SDF intervened and were able to neutralize and eliminate mercenaries after they refused to surrender.

He said "IS is close of total defeat and it is trapped from all sides, IS resorted to inhuman and revenge practices targeting, the civilians who had refused staying with them.
