Afrin people: Hewler meeting aims to foil Kurdish unity

A few days ago, the so-called coalition mercenaries, who killed the Afrin people and its children paid Başûr Kurdistan a visit led by the mercenary Abdul Jabar al-Akidi, and met with Kurdistan Democratic Party's Head Masoud Barzani, the people of Afrin and al-Shahba denounced the meeting and released statement to the public opinion in Berxwedan camp in Fafin district.

A member of the Afrin District Council, Mohammad Abdo, read the statement in Kurdish and a member of the Coordination of the Free Women's Union in al-Shahba, Rehab in Arabic.

The text of the statement:

"At a time when the Kurdistan National Congress seeks to bring together the views of the Kurds in preparation for unifying their ranks in the service of their interests and the region’s because of their civilizational and national role throughout history, especially their role that dominated this stage in the fight against the largest terrorist force fighting humanity in general, it is imperative that all Kurdish forces respond to these efforts and support them. Unfortunately, Masoud Barzani, head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), is still working to thwart these efforts by receiving a delegation of the so-called High Commission for negotiations, which includes people who have already smeared with Syrian and Kurdish blood. In addition to their loyalties to the Turkish policies in Syria, which is making efforts to divide the Kurdish class and use some of them to hit the project of Democratic Autonomous Administration in the north and east of Syria as when it occupied Afrin.

The observers of the events in Syria believe that the figures received by Barzani have a long history in the enmity of North Syria's people, especially the Kurdish people, who led the armed factions that attacked Rojava more than once like Abdul Jabbar al-Akidi, who did not hide his hostility to the Kurdish people, directly responsible for the massacres against the people of Tel-Hassel and Tel-Aran in the countryside of Aleppo in 2013, which was covered by Mr. Masoud Barzani, who claimed at the time not to commit massacres, despite the testimonies given by the people of the region in addition to the massacres in Afrin.

Al-Akidi and others like him who did not hide their affiliation to the extremist ideology through their leadership of the militant factions legitimating IS globally listed terrorist, but they aim to prolong the life of the Syrian crisis to serve their Ottoman masters because these open schemes that are intended to lure elements of mercenaries or the so-called Peshmerga Rojava, by the Turkish intelligence in the north of Syria, which comes in parallel with the efforts of the components of north and east Syria in the fight against terrorism and support the Syrian-Syrian dialogue in preparation for overcoming the Syrian crisis.
