Member of Syrians Team For Peace:' Resistance of Leyla Guven is a place of pride'

The co-chair of the Democratic Society Congress and the parliamentarian of the Democratic Peoples Party(HDP) in Colemêrg Leyla Guven, declared a hunger strike to denounce the isolation imposed on Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan for more than 80 days. Despite her release, Leyla Guven continued her hunger strike, in this regard member of the Syrians Team For Peace in Aleppo, Jihan al-Samman said that the resistance of Leyla Guven is a leading resistance.

The resistance of Leyla Guven reflects women's power and free will

Jihan al-Samman expressed her solidarity with Leyla Guven and pointed out that this resistance reflects the free will of women.

Jihan said, "I support all prisoners of conscience in the world, especially women, all international legislation and resolutions emphasize the freedom of opinion and respect it."

The resistance of Syrian women has become a source of pride

As for foreign and international interventions, Jihan al-Samman said, "foreign interference seeking separatist desires must be stopped."

As for the resistance of Syrian women during the Syrian crisis, she said: "The resistance of Syrian women has become a source of pride and has been remarkably effective in some areas of Syria and recorded historic tournaments."

Like all Syrian components, we must work to thwart Turkey's plans

At the end of her speech, Jihan al-Samman, pointed out that Syria is under occupation from various parties and concluded, "We as Syrians must work to thwart the Turkish plans and preserve the unity of Syrian soil."

It is worth mentioning that the Syrians Team For Peace is a women's movement and has many branches in the Syrian regions and works to achieve women's freedom in all fields.
