'Kurdish politicians should circumvent KNK initiative for unity'

By initiative of the Executive Body of the Kurdistan National Congress – Rojava, in order to establish of the Kurdish unity to confront the risks, which are exposed in Rojava and north-east of Syria, expanded meeting was held in 1 January, 2019, in the headquarter of the Democratic Society Movement (TEV-DEM) in Qamishlo city.

Five-member committee of the Kurdistan National Congress has been formed to discuss with all political parties, the committee has visited many political Kurdish parties, which confirmed to support the initiative, calling all the parties to join it to unity of the Kurdish row.

A member of the Central Committee of the Kurdish Democratic Party in Syria Abbas Hussein noted in an interview with ANHA to talk about the initiative of the National Congress and the support of the Kurdish parties to them, he said at the outset, "The initiative KNK -Rojava, which was launched in order to consolidate the Kurdish row, will be successful in the event of Kurdish parties distance from the idea of partisan and preference for the Kurdish interest on narrow, partisan and personal one. "

He pointed "the Kurds and during Rojava revolution and among the events which had happened in the regional arena, in particular in Syria " Kurds have pioneer role in solving the Syrian crisis, Rojava caught the world attention, so it is very essential to unity the Kurdish row, including to support the Kurdish case than ever."  

"We call on all other political parties, whether they are working with Autonomous Administration or outside the administration, to be unified, to have a common vision, to take action and to protect the gains achieved by the martyrs," he said.

"We support the initiative of the Kurdistan National Congress-Rojava. The unity of the Kurds in Rojava and north and east of Syria is important, and we call on all politicians to stand together."
