Commander: We do all our best to protect civilians from any hurt

Al-Jazeera Tempest campaign is still advancing in the final stage against IS mercenaries, and violent clashes are still continuing between IS mercenaries and SDF there, where only 5 km from Bagoz Faqani remains in IS clutches.

IS mercenaries are using the civilians as human shields to obstacle progress of SDF, in conjunction with the escape of some of them through the humanitarian corridor opened by SD to save civilians.

In the context, Hawar news interviewed with the Commander of Manbij Military Council (MMC) Assad Aboud Satif, he is specialized to save the civilians, he said " we always go to the front lines every day between IS and SDF fighters, where thousands of civilians are still there, securing them across safe corridor to liberated areas.

IS mercenaries have planted mines heavily, especially on the roads used by civilians to escape their brutality. There are dozens of casualties as a result," Aboud said.

And added "we as SDF fighters transport the wounded to the medical points for receiving treatment” and added we do all our best to protect the civilians from any hurt."

Asaad al-Aboud Satif said that the situation experienced by civilians in the areas controlled by IS mercenaries is very miserable, where large number of IS' families are existed there mostly children and women."
