Decline of confidence with the approaching of Turkish elections

A recent academic study revealed that the Turkish public opinion's confidence declined in the precedency to 44.1% in 2018, from 56.5% in 2017, while the army's confidence rate declined from 60% in 2017 to 51.2 in 2018, while the media witnessed the most decline.

A recent academic study revealed that the Turks’ confidence in the Turkish precedency has declined, due to the political, economic, and social crises witnessed by Turkey under the government of the Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

According to the study, which was published on UAE news website, under the headline, "Political and social trends in Turkey" in 2018, which was prepared by academicians at a private Turkish university, which relied on opinion survey of the Turks on a number of issues, the results of which were revealed.

According to one of the websites of the Turkish opposition, the results of the study revealed the decline of confidence of the Turkish public opinion in the presidency to 44.1% this year, from 56.5% in 2017.

While the rate of confidence in the army fell from 60% in 2017 to 51.2% in 2018. Media came at the top of the most institution where confidence declined, with a rate of 31.9%.

81.9% of respondents said that America is the biggest threat to Turkey.

The Turkish economic is suffering from repeated catastrophes, and crises in the financial sector through banks' debts which exceeded 6 $ billion, according to data from the Turkish Banking Coordination and Control Body, which led to the acceleration of companies operating in Turkey to close branches in Ankara under the impact of bankruptcy.
