Turkish occupation granted ID cards to settlers to participate in Turkish election

Afrin canton's peoples and the settlers have been exploited by Turkish state to their benefit in the next elections by issuing ID cards will grant them the chance to participate in the Turkish elections, while the violations are still ongoing against Afrin people.

Turkish state wants to exploit the Syrian crisis for their benefit through settlement of the Syrian refugees, its occupation of Syrian territories is increased day by day, in particular with the approaching of the local elections in Turkey, which serve demographic change that is being sought to it.

ID cards were issued to Afrin canton's people by Turkish state and the settlers who are coming from Syrian provinces, according to information obtained from Afrin, stressing that more than 2,000 Turkish ID cards have been granted to the settlers and the people of Afrin, that will grant them the chance to participate in the Turkish elections to support (AKP) in the next elections.

Turkish violations are still ongoing against Afrin people such as systematic kidnappings, especially for the opponents of their violations, according to information, 2 youth were kidnapped, Ahmad Mohammed Khalo, Walid Mohammed Jojo, they are from Şêa district, in a charge of working at Democratic Autonomous Administration's Institutions before the occupation of Afrin ,as well as kidnapping and torturing the Physical Doctor, Adnan Bustan, Kurdi from Rajo district.

Beside abduction, the mercenaries continue to break into the houses and steal the people's properties. They also broke into the shop of Rashid Jirou, stole his internal bus, raided houses in Qada village in Rajo district, they stole electric sewing machines, gas cylinders and olive oil tanks from the village.

And the demographic change's policy is continuing through the displacement of the indigenous people and the settlement of mercenaries' families, some of the people from Kuran village in janders district were being displaced from their homes and settled refugees from Syrian provinces, such as the citizen Majed Nabiko, who was displaced by force from the mercenaries who seized his house.

Loss of livestock

Turkish occupation's attacks have also caused massive destruction in homes, public facilities, shops and even nature, not to mention the seizure of the olive harvest, and stealing of the equivalent of $ 100 million, and stealing of property and the seizure of property belonging to the people.
