SDF fighters find weapons storehouses of IS in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor

SDF fighters found weapons and ammunition storehouses, and drugs belonging to IS mercenaries, in the village of Marashli in the village of Deir ez-Zor, and then on combing operations in the area.

The Syrian Democratic Forces fighters continue combing and searching the areas liberated from mercenaries, as part of the "battle to defeat terrorism", the latest phase of al-Jazeera Tempest campaign in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor .

During the search operations carried out by the fighters in the village of Marashli and its vicinity yesterday, the fighters found weapons and ammunition depots and other drugs belonging to mercenaries.

Among the weapons found were Dushka weapons, a number of individual weapons, mortars and shells, and quantities of medicines, as well as quantities of ammunition.

In the video attached to the news, shows some of the warehouses, weapons, ammunition and drugs found by the combatants.

A military source told ANHA agency's correspondent in the area that searches are continuing in the liberated areas and that demining engineering teams continue to clean and remove mines planted by mercenaries in the area before fleeing.
