The Special Forces of Manbij Military Council(MMC) carried out special security operations yesterday evening, targeting some lairs of sleeper cells of mercenaries in the northern city of Manbij, with aerial support by the Global Coalition and groups of US Marines troops.

The correspondent of ANHA agency in the city of Manbij northern Syria reported that the city witnessed yesterday evening many security operations by the special forces of MMC and US troops, where they raided a group of houses in several neighborhoods of the city after the search and investigation, and intelligence, in addition to intensive deployment of Internal Security Forces' checkpoints and checkpoints along the streets of Manbij, as well as aerial support by the Global Coalition helicopters.

On the other hand, ANHA correspondent confirmed that the operation of targeting sleeper cells of mercenaries continued until this morning, which came after a series of attempts by unknown parties to target the security and stability of the region, through bombings and planting explosive devices in some strategic points, the latest of which was near the bridge between Qarquzaq linked the eastern and western banks of the Euphrates River, and the previous suicide bombing of a patrol of the Global Coalition.

ANHA correspondent also noted, according to information received from fighters who participated in these security operations, that the arrest of persons suspected of involvement in the bombing that took place in front of al-Omara Restaurant explosion which killed 15 civilians and military, including 4 US soldiers, and the fighters confiscated quantities of weapons were in houses which were raided.
