Al-Khater family ... wholly massacred by Turkish aggression in Afrin

During the course of its aggression against Afrin, the Turkish occupation army committed dozens of massacres against civilians, in which dozens of children were killed. The Turkish occupation, along with its mercenaries who used them, began their aggression against Afrin on the 20th of January 2018, using all types of weapons, including internationally prohibited weapons, in addition to moving swarms of warplanes and helicopters to bomb the areas, villages and towns of Afrin.

The occupation, during its barbaric aggression, has taken civilians as a direct target, dozens of massacres and mass killings have been committed against them.

As Afrin was a safe haven before the occupation mercenaries entered it, hundreds of families and from various Syrian regions headed towards Afrin, including al-Khater family and its seven members, who fled from Idlib province to escape the mercenary gangs supported by Turkey towards al-Shahba to be again a target for Turkish warplanes that killed their entire members in a massacre documented by ANHA agency to be added as another black spot to Turkey's records.

On January 26, 2018, six days after the Turkish attack on Afrin, at 15:00, the Turkish warplanes hovered over the skies of Mobata district again, indiscriminate shelling targeting civilians there, the sounds of shelling echoed everywhere, meanwhile, at 15:30, the displaced family of al-Khater and its entire members were the victims of Turkish shelling, all of them losing their lives and their remains and bodies under the rubble of their house until 08:00 am.

The rescue teams rushed to retrieve the bodies and search for casualties, but all Taha al-Khater family lost their lives and documented the names of only six of them: "Father Taha Mustafa al-Khater, 45 years old, the mother Amina al-Khater, 40 years old, and their sons; Suleiman al-Khater, 14 years old, Yesra al-Khater, 9 years and Zakia al-Khater 15 years. "

It is noteworthy that the Turkish occupation and during the aggression on Afrin committed many massacres against civilians, and the number of civilian martyrs reached to 257 civilians, including 45 children and 36 women, in addition to the injury of 742 civilians, including 113 children and 113 women.
