Economic Committee's role in strengthening women's economy

Women have been deprived from all her rights during the ISIS occupation of al-Raqqa city, but with the liberation of the city by the Syrian Democratic Forces, women have played their leading role in all aspects of life, especially after the forming of Women Administration which is considered as the basic umbrella for all women.

The administration consists of many committees including the Economic Committee which contributes to raising the economic level of women.

The Economic Committee has opened courses of 3 months, 60 women joined these courses in which they got lessons of economic. The trainees had been distributed to economical committees affiliated to the Women's Houses in the city and its countryside.

The committee has also opened the sewing project, and the project of pastry bakery, which will be activated in the neighborhood of al-Mashlab in the coming period.

The administrator in the Economic Committee Rim al-Saleh pointed out that at the beginning, the committee's work was limited, so it has trained the women of their own economic concept to enable her to play her role in the economic field.  

She added:" we will work to activate the women's pastry bakery project, as we activated the sewing project, to raise the women's economic level"
