SDF released battle to defeat terrorism's last outcome

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) assured that 47 mercenaries were killed and 37 sites of IS mercenaries were destroyed during the last 24 hours of the battle to defeat terrorism in Deir ez-Zor countryside.

The Media Center of SDF issued on Thursday a statement to the public opinion in which it disclosed the outcome of the last 24 hours of the battle to defeat terrorism that is ongoing in Hajin area in Deir ez-Zor countryside.

The statement included,

"Our forces launched a widespread attack on the sites and points of the terrorists, and fierce clashes erupted and lasted for several hours. Moreover, the clashes resulted in killing and wounding a number of terrorists.

The International Coalition's aircrafts launched precision raids on the terrorists' fortifications and lines which resulted in destroying several sites of them. In addition, our forces managed to progress and install a number of points.

The military engineering teams started to remove the mines planted by the terrorist organization in the area.

Our forces managed to take out more than 300 civilians who used to be used as human shields by IS, moved them to safe areas and provided them with assistance and medical treatment.

The clashes' outcome:

The number of the terrorists killed: 47 terrorists.

The International Coalition aircrafts' strikes: 56 aerial strikes.

The terrorists' losses: 37 IS' sites, 2 booby-trapped vehicles, 6 military roads used to be used by the terrorists, a trench, 3 sites of mortars' launchers, 3 factories for booby-trapped vehicles were destroyed.
