Occupation built military bases in Afrin

AFRIN

The violations and practices of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries in Afrin have increased in terms of kidnappings, killings and stealing, as well as the displacement of villagers from the villages to build military bases there. However, mercenary gangs have expanded in the area and seized some villages in Afrin.

Villages have been taken as military bases

The Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries built military bases in the border villages of Afrin, after destroying many villages and thousands of civilians’ houses, while displacing residents from their villages to build military bases there.

The Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries abandoned the inhabitants of the mountainous village of Jia belonging to Rajo district, they took the village as a military base, they placed tanks, armored vehicles and heavy weapons, they uprooted 2,500 grape shrubs and 500 olive trees.

Despite the establishment of military bases in the vicinity of Afrin canton, the Turkish occupation army deliberately stirred differences and clashes between the mercenaries of Heyat Tahrir al-Sham ( previously Jabhit al-Nusra ) and the mercenaries of Noureddine al-Zinki and brought them from the vicinity of the city of Darat Izza in western countryside of Aleppo and the city of Idlib after he killed the mercenaries of Noureddine al-Zinki and took control of the entire western countryside of Aleppo and south of Afrin, thus cutting the road between Afrin, Idlib, and Aleppo.

Kidnapping of civilians

A month ago in the city of Afrin, his father, Hussein Rasho, the owner of Milan Pancakes, searched the military police and demanded for releasing his son. Six civilians from the village of Kokan (Faqani and Tahtani) were also kidnapped.

The abduction of Ciger Hussain Abdullah and Ahmad Mahmoud Ekaji from the village of Dumalia in Rajo district since late March and their fate is still anonymous, despite robbing Ciger father's car and paying a ransom.

In the village of Tel-Salor in Janders district, the girl Jihan Ahmed was kidnapped several months ago, as well as the kidnapping of Luqman Kamal Mohammed, 38, Samir Faiq Mohammed, and the young Mohammed Ahmed Shehada from the Arab component) since last March. Their fate is still unknown.

The fate of young Ali Ramadhan Hamidi, who is from the Arab component, who has been kidnapped several months ago, remains unknown.

On the other hand, mercenaries kidnapped Khalil Murad from the village of Kafr Safra in Janders district months ago, and we have no information about him.

Stealing

Although the olive season is nearing completion, the looting and stealing continues by the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation army and their families. In a large-scale robbery carried out by mercenaries of the occupation army, Al-Khairat olive mill (formerly the Sheikh Hussein’s) was robbed on the Kitikh Dromieh road by mercenaries who looted 1,500 olive oil tanks and detained the workers in the mill. They beat some of them and left them in a remote location near Kala village of Rajo. This led the owner of the mill, Muhammad Ali Sinah, from Qantara village to close it. He paid a large ransom to retrieve his machines from thieves during occupation of the area

Cutting down trees

The mercenaries continued to attack nature, forests, forest and olive trees. The mercenaries uprooted 300 olive trees in the border village of Hamam, belonging to the lawyer Abbas Ahmed, and cut down the perennial pine trees belonging to the family of Abdul Hamid Zibar in the village of Maamla in Mobata district.
