Leaders of International Coalition meet with dignitaries of al-Raqqa

Today in the meeting hall of al-Raqqa's Civil Council, leaders of the International Coalition had met with dignitaries of the city of al-Raqqa to discuss the recent situation and the political developments in the region on the Syrian arena and listen to the views of the sheikhs.

The meeting was closed to the media and lasted for two hours, the participants in the meeting noted that the US withdrawal will be slow and that their fight against ISIS has not ended yet, and that coalition leaders said "Our allies who are fighting with us have to make sure that we will not abandon them in such circumstances.

The focus of the questions during the meeting was about the Turkish threats to invade areas of North Syria, in which the leaders of the International Coalition have assured that they will reach the questions of the notables to the commanders in US to discuss it, and about the recent repercussions that are circulating among all the components of people.

During a meeting with ANHA agency, the Sheikh Turki al-Sawan, the elder of al-Sabkha clan said: "Today's meeting with the International Coalition was to listen to the views of the elders and dignitaries about the US withdrawal from North Syria, adding that the leaders confirmed that the withdrawal from Syria will be slow now because we know that our mission is continuing to fight ISIS mercenaries and it has not finished yet".

The sheikh stressed that we are all Syrians, whether from the opposition or the government, we are with the Syrian-Syrian solution until the end of the Syrian crisis and stop the bloodshed throughout Syria."
