Al-Raqqa Council, Education Committee refute statements attributed to them

This is in response to what was published by the site of Zaman al-Wasl of the so-called "Syrian opposition", news under the headline (Co-chair of al-Raqqa city :( Assad is our father the regime coming soon here)! The site also published a news by the Co-chair of Pedagogy and Education in al-Raqqa Civil Council, al-Shanan saying, every teacher that is absent from the meetings and celebrations in al-Raqqa their salaries would be discounted.

The Co-chair of al-Raqqa Civil Council Mashlab al-Darwish in response to what was published by the site of Zaman al-Wasl said: statements attributed to me circulated on the tendentious media and social networking sites are absolutely groundless, we as al-Raqqa Civil Council we have a political and military reference which is the only authorized in political and military statements."

He added: "Any statement issued by our non-political parties is a place of denial, we today as al-Raqqa Civil Council is still working for the reconstruction of the city of al-Raqqa from all aspects of life and service."

The Co-chair of Pedagogy and Education in al-Raqqa Civil Council, Ali- al-Shanan said, "Commenting on what the tendentious media affiliated to external agendas circulated is groundless, and these statements come after the great victories achieved by pedagogy and education in the city of al-Raqqa to improve the educational level."

"Today we, the Education Committee in the city of al-Raqqa, have opened more than 317 schools and returning of more than 114,000 students to school seats after the mercenaries deprived them access to education, this disturbs those who promote these irresponsible lies, and we will continue our march to open schools."
