Kurdish National Congress Committee in Rojava starts its work

By an initiative of the Executive Body of the Kurdistan National Congress of Rojava branch, and in a step to unity the Kurdish ranks to counter the risks which Rojava go through and the Autonomous Administration of north and east of Syria, an expanded meeting was held on Tuesday at the headquarters of the Democratic Society Movement in Qamishlo city.

The meeting resulted in the formation of a committee consisting of 5 members of the Kurdistan National Congress, whose task is to discuss with all political parties without exception. The members are: Sheikh Senan Ahmed, the member of Notables Council in Derik, Delour Zenki, the head of the Syrian Kurdish Writers Union, Abdul Karim Omar and Deria Ramadan, the members of the Executive Body and the professor at the University of Rojava Sulaiman Elias.

The members of the committee met on Wednesday at 11.00 hours at the headquarters of the Foreign Relations Body for al-Jazeera region, and during the meeting, the mechanism of action were clarified then they issued a written statement:

"Doubtlessly, day after day, the regions of north and east Syria are going through very sensitive stages. The Turkish state issues constant threats and attacks on the gains of the Kurdish people and Autonomous Administration, and in order to discuss these issues, the Executive Council of KNK-ROJAVA and the Political parties and organizations met in Rojava in the framework of unifying the Kurdish ranks and working within institutions and organizations that seek to protect the rights of the components of the Syrian people. "
