"Intellectuals must expose practices of Turkish occupation'

The voices against the threats of the Turkish President Erdogan to launched an attack on the northern and eastern regions of Syria are increasing on a daily basis. In turn, the intellectuals of al-Jazeera region condemned the Turkish threats and explained the need to expose the practices of the Turkish occupation and put pressure on all international institutions and organizations and human rights organizations to stop the Turkish threats.

Turkey was founded on the dissolution of peoples

The Editor-in-Chief of Sharmla Magazine Dilshad Murad said, "We know that the current situation in the region is witnessing the threat of Turkey to the north and east of Syria which is not new to us. Since the beginning of Rojava Revolution and the north and east of Syria, Turkey is threatening our areas."

He added, "The Ottoman state has committed massacres against the Armenians, Assyrians, Syriacs, Kurds and Yazidi people. The Turkish state has been fighting the Kurdish Cause for years, and it is also fighting all the peoples of the region because the Turkish mentality is based on racism and fascism."

Murad appealed to all intellectuals of the world to support the people of northern and eastern Syria, expose the practices of the Turkish occupation and put pressure on all institutions and international organizations and human rights organizations to stop these Turkish threats.

Turkey is trying to export its internal crisis and mix the cards inside Syria

The co-chair of the Union of intellectuals in al-Jazeera region Abboud Maqso  explained that the Turkish threats in the regions of northern and eastern Syria at the present time is to export the crisis from inside Turkey to the outside and to mix the cards inside Syria, especially after thousands of workers went to the streets and denounced the economic crisis that swept Turkey as a result of the policies of Erdogan."

The media official in the Union of intellectuals in al-Jazeera Region Issa Farhan noted that the Turkish threats launched by Erdogan is against democracy in the region."

Issa appealed to all the peoples of the world, the democrats and the international community to support the people of north and east Syria who fought terrorism on behalf of the whole world and added, "The whole world is aware of the victories achieved by the Syrian Democratic Forces and People and Women Protection Units (YPG and YPJ) throughout the Syrian territories and Rojava."
