Elham Omar: We seek to gather opposition perspectives to resolve Syrian crisis

The speech of the member of the Presidential Body of the Syrian Democratic Council (MSD) and the administrator in the Women Office of the Council, Elham Omar came during a meeting of the Council of Teachers in ​​Ain Issa district to explain the latest political developments on the Syrian arena and the organizational structure of MSD.

The meeting, which was held in the meetings hall at the headquarters of the People's House in the district, was attended by dozens of teachers.

The meeting began with holding a minute of silence. Then, Elham Omar spoke about the stage of establishing MSD that entered its third year and said, "The Syrian Democratic Council was established at a time when Syria was engaged in the sharing of interests and influence operations between regional and international countries."

Elham referred to Turkey's occupation of Afrin, Azaz and Jarabulus and Iran interests in the region saying, "Turkey has carried out demographic change operations in Afrin with the support of international parties."

Elham touched upon the Syrian-Syrian Dialogue Forum held in Ain Issa district in Girê Spî / Tal Abyad at the end of last month, Elham Omar said, "The Council took important steps by holding a Syrian-Syrian meeting, which brought together internal and external opposition parties which are not subjected to Turkey's command."

Elham explained that the purpose of the forum is to find a radical solution to the Syrian crisis and unify the views of the Syrian opposition, and this is a step towards holding a national Syrian conference.

Then, the member of the Women's Bureau of the Syrian Democratic Council, Amina al-Saleh read the rules of procedure for the attendees.
