Eliminating mercenary commanders in 3 qualitative operations in Afrin

The People and Women Protection Units (YPG, YPJ) carried out in the framework of the second phase of the Resistance of the Age 3 qualitative operations against the Turkish mercenaries in Afrin, which resulted in eliminating a number of mercenaries, including leaders and wounding others.

The media center of the People Protection Units disclosed through a statement the details of those operations and the statement included,

"In the second phase of the Resistance of the Age in Afrin, on 5 December, our forces carried out 3 qualitative military operations and targeted the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation in both the center of the city of Afrin and Janders district.

On 5 December, our units carried out an operation against a military vehicle that was carrying one of al-Sultan Murad mercenaries' leaders, named Hamza Qarha and accompanied by his driver in al-Mahmoudia neighborhood in Afrin city's center, where they were killed in the operation and the military vehicle was destroyed.

On the same date, our units targeted a military vehicle carrying the mercenary Abdullah al-Zerba, the leader of the mercenaries of the so-called al-Shemal Brigade at the entrance of the city of Afrin, on the side of Rajo. The operation resulted in killing and injuring mercenaries whose number has not been known yet.

At the same time, our units carried out a military operation on the headquarters of the al-Sham Corps mercenaries in the center of Jabnders district, where two mercenaries were killed and three others wounded.
