Women from 16 countries hold forum in India, gifted it to activist Sakîne Cansiz

Women from 16 countries around the world held a forum on women's freedom in Bangalore, India. The Forum was gifted to the Kurdish activist Sakîne Cansiz .

To discuss and debate issues related to women's freedom in the world, a discussion forum was held in Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka state in southern India, in which about 200 women from 16 countries around the world participated for three consecutive days. Women discussed the experiences of women in struggle and liberation from the countries of the world, and from the ideologies that these libertarian movements and women's movements around the world are pursuing.

The decision to hold this forum was held within the 2016 World Congress of Women in Nepal.

It is worth mentioning that the attendees in this forum gifted the forum to the spirit of the Kurdish activist Sakîne Cansiz, who was assassinated with two of her companions by the Turkish intelligence in Paris, and the Indian activist Kauri Lankesh, who was assassinated by the fascists last year in India.
