- An international forum on ethnic cleansing and demographic change in Afrin canton is being held under the auspices of Rojava Center for Strategic Studies in Amouda district of Qamishlo canton, in the presence of a number of political and academic figures, and administrators from local, regional and international civil society organizations. The forum will continue for 3 consecutive days in the 2-3th of this month (accompanied with photos and video).

-The Training Committee of the Democratic Society organizes a celebration for children in al-Wehshia Hamlets of Fafin district  in al-Shahba canton at 12:00 pm (accompanied with photos and videos.)

-The Martyrs Families Council and Kobanî people commemorate the martyrs of December during a ceremony, while the people of Amuda district bid farewell the body of a fighter in the People's Protection units, was martyred during his participation in the battle to defeat terrorism(accompanied with photos and videos.)

- The Kurdish Red Crescent, of Afrin branch, prepared approximately 16 reports and documented the crimes of the Turkish occupation in Afrin, while they have not yet received any response from 12 concerned parties. Reports said that their humanitarian work has not stopped and will keep the Afrin file open through their reports(accompanied with photos and videos.)

World

- Last week, the Russian-Turkish Disarmed Zone witnessed an escalation following a chemical attack on Aleppo by mercenaries, accompanied by a Russian failure to make progress in the course of Astana. The political process in both Iraq and Lebanon is still in place due to sectarian disputes, while the Ukrainian-Russian tension increased over the work of the G20 in Argentina (accompanied with photos).

Politics

-Ziad Watfa said that the Syrian-Syrian dialogue has created a positive atmosphere for the unification of the national opposition forces in light of the division it is experiencing, stressing that any attempt to resolve the Syrian crises without the Syrian people will fail (picture and video attached).

- The suffering of displaced people in Tuweihina camp north-west of al-Tabqa city has worsened day by day as the cold has intensified and rainfall rates have increased, forming pools of water and mud on the camp's grounds, not to mention the hundreds of tents abandoned by people in the late hours of last night because of heavy rains seen in the region (accompanied with photos and videos).
